With hundreds of titles representing as many artists and a wide swath of the folk and world music genres, Crow & Wolf Music is quickly becoming a popular spot for musicians and music lovers alike. The company was founded in 2003 by the husband and wife team of Bill and Naima Feagin. \"The Internet has become this great marketplace of ideals and communication, and we wanted to do our part to utilize this forum to help independent artists as much as possible,\" says Bill.
Part of this help includes a streaming audio broadcast hosted on the company\'s website by Live365.com. \"The online radio station represents the best of our catalogue and is quickly becoming a favorite of many listeners.\" says Naima. Also in the works is a combined shop and performance centre, located in the Catskill Mountains of upstate New York and due to open in December.
It all started with a trip to London in the winter of 2003. Naima Feagin, a music industry major from the State University of New York at Oneonta, had just finished her last semester. She was about to embark on a journey with her soon-to-be-husband Bill Feagin that would change their lives forever. \"I was looking for an internship that was different from my fellow colleagues.\" explains Naima. \"What I found was an unexpected treasure chest of possibilities.\"
In the past two years, the company has grown to a small brick-and-mortar shop and performance venue in New York\'s Catskill Mountains. \"We are still under construction at the new center, but we plan on celebrating our grand opening on New Years Eve. It\'s sure to be a fun time for all!\" In the meantime, there is also Crow and Wolf\'s Internet radio station, hosted by live365.com \"We wanted people to be able to sample all the music we have for sale in more than just little soundbites,\" says Naima \"Our Internet radio station is the very best of our entire catalogue.\"
